Jeremie, Haiti

This has been a very calm hurricane season so far, not that there is any shortage of turmoil and other varieties of disaster within the country. Relative to the weather, we all hope that things will remain quiet for the balance of the year.

It's good to hear that Matthew is retired as a name, as it was the worst hurricane to ever hit this region. Unfortunately, as we await the new season, our area and Haiti in general is no better prepared for any such natural disaster. Below is a photo of the local devastation in Jeremie, Haiti in early October, 2016.
