Martinique is still on Yellow alert for rain. Very wet earth and just a little more rain and we’ll see more of these.

Severe rain for the last few days, particularly in the north east of the
island. Several landslides, some more dangerous than others, with several
houses broken completely destroyed by the land on which they’re built sliding.
With sadness, I report that a man of Fifty-odd years was taken by surprise in
his car and taken out to see, where his body was finally recovered a couple of
days later.

We’re not out of the woods yet. The wet air mass seems to have stalled over the
eastern Caribbean and is producing flooding and worse in other islands. We’re
staying on Orange alert for the moment.

Take care and stay safe. My best.

Rain and a lot of thunder and lightnings since 8:45 pm. Some gusts from time to time  but the main point is the electric activity.
