Must say that I was really hoping to fill my recently cleaned cistern.
That so didn't happen! Radar kept showing actual holes in the rain exactly
over St John. Do we have some karma problem?

Good Morning. from in front of Crabby’s in Coral Bay. Most places out here fared well.except for a few boats. In this photo is the sailboat is "S/V Friggin Queen "and believe it or not the hull of the other boat is "MV/ Jaws”  back from Davey Jones Locker. Jaws sank about 200 yards from shore this past year and was a navigation hazard with it’s bow anywhere from one foot below to one foot above the surface depending on tide. Bas news is very little rain out here. Thanks Andreas-Crabby

Taken around 5:30 this afternoon by Andreas the intrepid. Frieze Bay. Hard to make out but it is from about 75 foot elevation about 200 feet north of Miss Lucy’s. You can see the rocky beach with tall dildo catus behind it. Waves are loaded with that nasty sargassum sea weed, maybe 3’ surf. To left is the reef past Johnson bay and straight across Coral Bay you can see low laying Haulover bay with Tortola in the back ground. -Crabby

Okay..Erika has apparently left the house.  So far, very little rain, a few showers, here and there , a little sun and clouds.  Went down to our Intex pool for a dip around 3;30..good sun and nice breeze. She seems to have shifted a bit south...so we’ll see. Oh....and some stores were very low on Heinekin....Starfish market was completely closed up with tarps and alll....and the Post ofifce was closed....The GYM was open. YAY ! And we at the Animal care center got all of our furry freiends safe and secure for the night. Still sunny at 4;30 pm...

Not a great shot of the ocean but this was taken about an hour ago overlooking Coral Bay valley, you can see the route 10 overlook in the center and Bordeaux Mountain in the background. Crabby is temporarily off island and so is Erica. Crabby

Good morning,

A little light rain last night (0.155” at 0630) with the occasional breeze. We’ve made all preparations except for slamming the louvers shut and hunkering down with a stiff drink. We wait and watch and are grateful for the rain showers.

John
