Can I just remind everyone that StormCarib is for announcing, reporting and
helping others through weather related issues. Hurricanes etc to be clear.

Quack conspiracy theories have no place here !

The Internet is plenty big enough for those moronic thoughts.

Oh, and it rained a lot here today, with a decent electric storm that cut the
electricity for a short while.

- Update from Martinique

After Bertha.

We had a few squalls starting from around midday, a few gusts of wind too but
nothing too strong.

Different parts of Martinique got differing amounts of rain. The north had
around 2-3 inches but not much more than that. Electricity stopped for a while
and pretty much all the centre of Martinique was cut for a few hours.

Worse than all of that, the stage of the "Tour des Yoles Rondes" between
François and Trinité was cancelled :-(

Hopefully this is a nice wake up call for those that haven't as yet prepared.
It could be the quietest season ever, but it only takes that one to hit you !
Matches, candles, water etc... Go stock up now.
