Good night everyone...It has been a cloudy, rainy day here, maybe a peak of a blue sky. I have conflicting rain amounts on our property, and our average so far has only been two and a half inches. That can vary a bit, even though we are a small island. Depends on where the rain hits. Looks a little horrid for friends in the states looking at what is passing, and elsewhere, but all is well on the island. A few days ago, friends who moved here from the East coast of the U.S. said it was really hot, 92F. Today I wrote him and said I was thinking of him...Our house, closed, sweats on. socks on...76F. Welcome Phil and Diane. To all who may be in the incoming path of whatever this storm does, as always be, safe. There may be a little more in our future from this one, will keep everyone posted. Good night, (nite),all...Ken

Good day, or Good night..Had a passing shower today, enough to wet the ground, rain is always welcome. We always watch what is coming next and it looks like the SAL is doing us a favor. I think we all can relax for a few days, but you are right, Dave, the African coast is ready to pumping out it's best. Enjoy the calm!!! Have a good week everyone...from the Emerald Isle...Ken

Good morning everyone....What started out yesterday morning, gray skies and rain, turned into a beautiful sunny day. So far today, same gray kind of day, no rain or gusty winds to speak of. A few occasional breezes though. The sun just popped out, you never know!! Stay safe!!! Ken

Good morning everyone..Beginning last night we have had some intermittent showers, breezy, waking to overcast skies. It appears Chantal will pass to the south of us, but I expect we will get a few gusts of wind and downpours. That's about it for the moment, time to move a few things out of harms way. Have a great day, stay safe...Ken
