Hi,

We had some high winds and some days almost nothing. Today it is blowing hard again here in Paradera. Yesterday when I picked up my two grandchildren from school, I passed the "Dam", this is what it is called here on Aruba, it was almost dry. (in there all the rainwater is collected and used by companies who need water).
The island is very dry and a lot of dust inside the houses, so actually we need some rain.
Here in Paradera we had some drizzles and that was it.
But coming back to the Hurricane season.
Dave expected it and if you see the weather chart and see what is developing on the atlantic and in the Gulf is not funny.

I am glad we have modern technology to track and follow everything so you can prepare yourself.
Wonder how they did it in the old days where they did not have satelites and radars.

Anyhow we keep you posted and enjoy your day.

Roy

Hi,

Just told my wife that it looks like something will change, so I checked the computer and saw Chantal coming and invest 96L.

Seems things are starting or ....?

Anyway we will keep a close watch on these two now and will write more on the StormCarib website to inform you.

At the moment we have high winds and the island is dry so a lot of dust in and around the house.

Keep you informed.

Roy
