Good evening everyone...Yesterday morning started off sunny with a few clouds, and gradually became more cloudy, with a short downpour late afternoon. Occasional thunder in the distant, along with some lightening. Today, much the same as yesterday, although no downpours, just an occasional drizzle. There is a bit of lightening happening around us, also with occasional thunder. Received another 1 1/2 inches of rain since the last post. The tree frogs are out singing in full force. What a pleasant way to end the day...Good night all...Ken

Good evening everyone...Yesterday shortly after 12 noon, the Heavens opened. Rain, from many directions, depending where the wind was blowing it. A few good gusts here and there, heavy downpours, then lighter rain and milder breezes. I don't think it ever stopped raining completely. Still light drizzle today, moderate breeze, short occasional downpours. Rain so far from Raphael here have totaled between 10 1/2 to 11 inches, as of earlier today. 76 degrees at the moment with a moderate breeze, and as most know, that is a little chilly!!! House closed up, dinner in the oven!!! Enjoy the evening everyone....Ken

(hopefully) Good morning everyone. Woke to overcast skies, slight breeze, and drizzling rain. Nothing to speak of that happened overnight. So far have had approximately one and a half inches of rain,(with more to come!!), great for soaking in the ground. About it for the moment....Stay safe and dry...Ken

Good morning...An overcast day here, the sun occasionally peeks through the clouds. Had a few short gusts of wind this morning, but still calm with occasional breezes. As you know from previous posts, I usually am glued to the internet watching approaching storms, which don't move much in an hour... ( kind of like watching paint dry!!). The cats already have their indoor shelter spots, funny how they know something is amiss...Again to our southern and northern neighbors, be safe.....Ken

Good morning everyone,

From the looks of the storm, I would have expected more, but thankfully, it was a rather small event. Most of the neighboring islands have expressed the same. Today consists of putting everything back on the veranda, and getting back to normal, hopefully for the rest of the season. To our neighbors in the storms path, stay safe. Have a good day everyone!!

Good morning, (so far)
Just heard the first thunder in the distance, so off line shortly. Light breezes so far, light rain occasionally. We have all done the drill before, prepare for the worst, wish for the best. Stay safe everyone, will report after the storm has passed.

Good night all,

What started as a dreary rainy day, turned into a sunny blue sky, (a little humid) day. To bad something ugly is coming up the path, and ready to knock on our door. Have a restful evening everyone...

Good morning everyone,
Started raining about one in the morning, (that I know of), and has been on and off since. Woke to a grey, slightly breezy morning, with a little chilly temperature of 78 degrees. Looks like this probably last most of the day. Time for coffee....Enjoy the day everyone, may not be as pleasant tomorrow.

Good night to all surrounding islanders,

We had a beautiful day of sunshine and slight breeze. Tonight, breeze has picked up a bit, but gentle. There are experts out there in the Caribbean, who give us great and accurate comments to our island chain. Thank you every one.

Good evening fellow islanders...Once again, a wait and see with the upcoming disturbance, quite a broad area. I have my mother to thank for a worry gene. I watch something come off the African coast, and the closer it gets, I'm watching it every hour!! My partner asks, "Has it changed much?" I have learned to ignore the question. It is a beautiful evening here, clear and breezy, perfect pool temperature, (and it's clean). I assume it will get a little more debris soon. Anyway, I'll be in touch. As everyone says, stay safe, be prepared. Enjoy the evening!!

Ken
