- SO THIS IS THE RAINY SEASON????

Just looked at the 2:15 PM sat picture which shows bright red over Anguilla.
Also read the reports from Nevis and Tortola about the torrential rains.
But guess what it's doing in Anguilla? Yep, just lots of clouds and NO
RAIN! Had about 0.1" early this AM, and that's it. Think it's time to give
up on the cistern and get government water!

Cheers,

Don't know if there is a low or depression out there, but last night the
wind REALLY kicked up to the high 20-knots to low 30 knots, with a gust
around 3:30 to 36 kn. (42 mph). But still no rain out of it - a couple of
quick showers, but not enough to register on the rain gauge. Cistern is
down another 1.5 inches.

The past 2 days have been very overcast, but still no rain - and, boy, do we need it.  The cistern is down 9 inches.  The wind picked up dramatically yesterday, with 14 - 18 knots in the AM, 20-25 knots in the PM - at least got a chance to do some windsurfing.  There is a heavy overcast this AM, low ceiling, but only a few sprinkles with E - SE wind about 12 - 14 knots. Hoping for rain!
