Hi all from The Unspoiled Queen.

The total amount of rain fall for the month of April that I have recorded is 5 1/2 inches.
This has brought up the level of water to full in most cisterns and the island has started to take on that lush and tropical green again.
The repairs to the harbor have been completed.

Keep safe
Hey Linny wish you where here.

Hello all from the Unspoiled Queen.

January has been a month that I have recorded 2 1/2 inches of rain.
Once this keeps up the island will remain lush and tropical.

The diving and fishing has been excellent for with the exception of a few
days with some large swells but otherwise all has been ok.

Hey Lindy wish you were here.

Good luck to all out there from

Vince.

Hello all.
The month of November has given The Unspoiled Queen a great amount of
precipitation.
Some rain guages have measured over the 8" inch mark.
My rain guage filled to the six and overflowed. I will have more details in
my next update.
As in the previous mail the island is as green as can be.
I do not have any photos to share with you but maybe one of the other
correspondents will post one.
Otto is no threat to our islands.

Once again Gert thanks for your most valuable input and info during the
season.

Hi Gert,

Greetings from Saba.

Here is some info concerning the rain fall amount which I recorded for the
month of September.

The total rain fall for the month of Sept 2004 which I have recorded was 4
1/4 "

The weather for the month of Sept was ok with a near miss from T.S Jeanne
which sent some heavy swells and surf around the island especially at the
harbor which is STILL under the reconstruction/repair stages and has been
for queit some time. One small boat was completly destroyed during the
passing of Jeanne and some coastal dirt roads at the harbor area were washed
out.
Today the winds are also light and the vis looks greater than 10 km.

once again thanks for your valuable info during this hurricane season which
is not over by any means.
Vince

Hello Sir,
I thought it great to send you some pictures of the seas from Jeanne as she
passed South of Saba yesterday.
This was around 16:45 Spetember 15, 2004.

There were many people enjoying a drink and looking at the big waves on the
Fort Bay as they came over the small and big pier.
The cargo boat Mr. Ted just offloaded in time before the seas started coming
over the big pier.

Here is an up date from Saba.

Tropical storm Jeanne gave us some T.S force winds yesterday afternoon and
evening.
Latest wind at the airport was at 47kt sustained at 4 pm 14th sept 04.
A close neighbor of mine recorded a wind gust of 63 mph at 5:30 pm
Seas at the harbor were very large and the swells were covering the both
piers.
one boat was destroyed and some took shelter in the area of Wells Bay.
There has been continous light rain since yesterday and we have not seen the
sun as yet for the day as it is completly overcast
Some trees have lost a few small limbs and leaves.
The wind is still in a southerly direction.
Flights were cancelled after midday yesterday and have resumed this morning.
Electricity was shut down as a precaution yesterday at 3 pm and was returned
to normal at 10:00 am this morning island wide.
Vince.

The winds on Saba are now blowing out of the SE at 24 kt with gusts at
times. Vis + 10 km rain showers to the south of the island seas look rather
choppy.
I suppose the winds will become stronger and shift around some more as the
system passes close to our area.
will send an up date if need be at a later time.

Saba had a nice wetting from a rain shower yesterday afternoon, around a
half inch or so, no winds from Frances to talk about. Most of the boat
owners either secured their vessels by taking them out of the water or
sailing to St Maarten for the lagoon protection.
Government ordered all of their buildings to be secured and the school
children have no school today.
Winds on Saba at this time are Calm and no rain.
Some of the surrounding islands are still visible.
large swells can also be seen.

Winds are out of the ESE at about 15 kts vis is around 10 + km a little on
the hazy side but lots of sunshine.
T D # 2 passed without much rain and what we did have was welcome as it
helps with the lush and tropical rain forrest.
