- Update

After reading the post from Tortola and Vieques, I feel very fortunate.  It rained on more on St. Croix the last few days than it has rained in the last 3-4 months combined.  Those nice ground soaking rains.  The smell was wonderful, you only get that with a big rain.

BTW, I saw Vernon's post from Vieques and I haven't been here in a hurricane.  My wife was in Savannah for Hugo, but there are many places to run in the states.  I drove a supply truck down to Charleston after Hugo and could not believe the devastation.  So I can't even imagine what people go through in the islands. This is our third year here and we hope (though we know better) we don't experience a hurricane.

Good post Vernon!

The last of TD 6 is starting to come through, we had some fairly heavy rain and thunder since last night.  But nothing major, everybody wants this much needed rain.  St. Croix will once again be green when this is finished.
