trujillo 2:15 am 11/01/01, have not been able to
access internet for a few days, we are at the end of the road on the north coast
of honduras, quite ,often during the rainey season the phone lines are a little
iffy (one of the costs for living in the most beautifull place on earth) ,
back to the weather, it has been raining all day and all night, at the moment,
we are experiencing a lull in the storm, all low areas are saturated and
flooded,including the air port run way, which has about a foot of water on it,
2:40 am , starting to rain very hard , many of the local people here live close
to the rivers and streams and have lost thier homes and , belongings, according
to the truck and bus drivers many bridges are out on the main road to la ceiba
and on to san pedro sula, as soon as the sun comes up i will try to get more
info and relay it.
