Well it's about 7:40 AM here Tuesday morning and we are still waiting.
According to the satellite images, it looks like we should be right in
the thick of things, but there's not much more than a moderate breeze
outside right now, not even any rain. We are just a little south of the
center of the storm, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it
or not. We prepared for the worst yesterday, with food water and all
that good hurricane stuff. Lots of buisnesses in downtown Basseterre
prepared by boarding up windows and the like. So to sum up, we're still
waiting here. But as of now, just cloudy skies, rough seas...and no
rain at the moment.
