Greetings all.
Looks very active out there and more rolling off the coast.
Saba is settleing down to her usual colours and we are recieveing many wonderful showers.
Winair has been unable to execute any landings or departures due to the cross winds
Seas at the Harbour are picking up and mariners need to take that extra precaution.
The highest wind gust at the airport this morning was 42kts, Barometric pressure was down to 29.85
Welcome aboard Ashley and Shawn
Rainfall for the month of August stood at 6 1/4 inches at my location. Cisterns are topping up with the Caribbean liquid gold.
Remember in these isles of sun and fun we never flush for # 1 and if it's yellow let it mello if it's brown flush it down. Read that in one of the many watering holes on the island.

Best Regards
from the Unspoiled Queen

Greetings all,
It has been awhile since my last post but here goes.
Saba has recieved some much needed rain showers with the passing of the tropical wave. ( an inch at my location, 2 1/2" for the month).
Winds were light during the rain showers and this morning the winds have picked up but nothing strong from a southerly direction and u all know what that means yep u guessed it the smell of sulpher is in the air. The Islands west of us can look out for some heavy down pours and some flooding in the low lying areas such as P R, Haiti/Hispaniola, the U.S and British V.I and so on.

Best regards and keep your eyes East

Vince

Hi all
greetings from the Unspoiled Queen.
We are in need of some good soaking rains.
I don't foresee anything coming our way in the next few days or so but if anything does come it will be cherished.
Plants are withering and some trees are dropping their leaves.
Even the tree frogs have become silent.
Winds today are ESE at about 14 mph, seas are choppy, visibility is greater than 10 miles.
Pineapples are good and so are the mangos which are few.
Hello to Lin, Joe, Alex,Sue, Pete and all.
Best regards
Vince
