Many in Curaçao were awake tonight when heavy thundershowers affected the island, with a lot of rain. Some areas received well over 75mm (3 inches). Power went off in some neighbourhoods.
Scattered, local thundershowers have been happening at least for the past 7 days and is expected to continue this week with the presence of Invest 97L.

Hello Gert, The chance for a major named storm in vicinity of Curacao is 10%, Aruba is 12% and Bonaire is 9%, all 3 for 2023 are predicted. It is not less than 1 percent according to your article. I got my info from https://tropical.colostate.edu/TC_impact.html
